Dr.U Syed Aktharsha

U Syed Aktharsha has joined Jamal Institute of Management, Trichy as faculty, Information system area in 2003. He earned his undergraduate degree in Commerce from Jamal Mohamed College, affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichy in 2000. He obtained his post graduate degree in Management from Jamal Institute of Management, Trichy in 2002. Later, he completed his Master of Philosopy from Periyar University, Salem in 2006. He got his PhD degree in the area of knowledge Management in 2012. His research interests mainly revolve around different interlinked strategic issues in Information System. He has about 9 years of teaching experience. Four of his research papers have been published in Premier management journals in India like SCMS Indian Journal of Management, Cochin, IUP Journal of Knowledge Management, IUP Journal of Information Technology , PSG Journal of Contemporary Research in Management. In addition to this, he has also edited an ISBN book on Finance and Mangement. One of his research papers has been listed in the libary of Brown University, USA and also in the online databases viz proquest, Mendeley and SSRN. He has also published 19 research papers in various International, National Journals and 34 papers in conferences and edited book volumes with ISBN and ISSN . He has presented more than 90 papers in various International, National and State level conferences. He has attended a FDP on Data Analysis for Management Research at IIMK, Calicut. Besides, academics, he has been taking various adminstrative responsibilities such time table incharge, web site committe incharge, computer centre in charge and project incharge. He was the co-ordinator of National Conference held on January 2011 and acted as a Treasurer for National conference held on March 2012. He is also acting as resource person for MBA Programs offered by various esteemed universites such Anna university, chennai, Alagapa University, Karikudi and University of Madras, chennai.
