Dr. G. Chandrakumar did his M.A., Economics in Rajah Serfoji Govt. Arts College, Thanjavur and M.Phil, Economics in Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirapplli. He Completed B.Ed., and M.Ed., Education in Govt. College of Education Orathanadu and M.Phil Education in Alagappa University, Karaikudi. He obtained his Ph.D Degree in Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. He has been rendering his valuable service in the field of Higher Education for nearly two decades as an Eminent Professor, Active Researcher and able Administrator.

He is also looking after the B.Ed., IGNOU and Bharathiar University Study Centre in the capacity of Programme-in-Charge functioning in the college.

He has, so far, published 4 Research Papers in various International and National Journals and over 40 Papers in International and National Conferences. He has acted as a Chairperson in various National and International Conferences. He always encourages student community to excel well in their chosen fields so as to become wholesome personalities. He also directs students to be proactive by improving themselves both mentally and morally.
