Assistant Professor

Prof. J. Armaan Salik is an Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics at the Jamal Institute of Management, Trichy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Dr. G.R. Damodaran College of Science, affiliated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from B.S. Abdur Rahman University, Chennai. He is also Certified Supply Chain Management Executive (SCM-EXE) from the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), New Delhi.
With over 5 years of teaching experience, Prof. Salik brings a blend of academic consistency and industry insights to his teaching. Before joining academia, he served as a Business Development Executive at JMJ Interiors LLC, Dubai, UAE, where he gained hands-on experience in business operations and client relationship management.
Prof. Salik is the coordinator of the NM.Khajamian Industry Institute Partnership Centre and has a keen interest in area of study like logistics service quality, supply chain performance, omnichannel strategies. His teaching and research focus on equipping students with practical skills and strategic knowledge in the ever-evolving field of supply chain and logistics.
Known for his strong communication skills and dedication to student success, Prof. Salik is committed to fostering a learning environment that bridges the gap between theory and practice. His professional experience and academic expertise make him a valuable asset to the institution and an inspiring mentor to his students.
