B.Ed Commerce is a 2 years undergraduate program that moulds the aspirants into qualified teachers who would help in the process of nation building in the future. Candidates can pursue the B.Ed in commerce course only after they complete their Post graduate course relevant stream. B.Ed is a professional degree course that is studied in order to gain experience and necessary skills to become a teacher.
B.Ed Commerce course enables the candidates to become qualified teachers in the commerce stream. The course enables the candidates to understand the various concepts of commerce and how it must be presented to the candidates so that they are able to grasp the concepts easily. The B.Ed Commerce course enables the students to understand the psychology of the students and enables them to undertake basic counselling processes for the at risk students.
To provide theoretical and practical knowledge for the students in the stream of commerce subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies and Physical Education etc. The students can become a commerce teacher in any Higher Secondary school after completing the course. They are eligible to write PGTRB Examination conducted by Tamil Nadu Government Teacher Recruitment Board and also eligible to write CTET Examination conducted by Union Government.
