Report of Aalim Graduation 2021-2022
The P.G & Research Department of Arabic, Jamal Mohamed College (Autonomous) of Tiruchirappalli organsized Aalim Sanad Graduation programme for 9th & 10th Batch on 13th November 2021 at N.B. Abdul Gaffoor Auditorium (A/C). The Honourable Secretary and Correspondent of the college, Dr.A. K. Khaja Nazeemudeen declared the graduation programme open. It began with the Invocation from the Holy Qura’n by I - B.A Arabic Student Mr. A. Ahamed Jareer and Arabic Song by the students of Arabic Department. Dr. M. Abdul Kader, Head of the Arabic Department welcomed the gathering. The College Principal, Dr. S. Ismail Mohideen presided over the function. In his presidential address he stressed the importance of linking the material education with the Human values. Janab P. Abdul Samad, Member of Legislative Assembly (Manapparai Constituency), Member Syndicate, Bharathidasan University, Trichy, in his keynote address stressed the responsibility of Aalim Grandaunts in liberating the humanitarian values among the society.
The chief guest of the programme was Moulana. Moulvi Al-Haaj Al Hafiz. P.A. Khaja Mohinudeen, Baqavi, Hazrath Qibla, President – Tamil Nadu Jama’athul Ulama Sabai. In his graduational address he stressed the importance of knowledge along with strong faith to propagate the right understanding and right feeling in the people to live with human values. He insisted the audience, students and the grandaunts that ‘Man is supreme by the fear of Lord and not by the language, caste or creed.
He also stressed that the application of knowledge will be rightly guided with the fear of Almighty. He encouraged the students for good character, sincerity, loyalty and to strengthen the relationship with their relatives, neighbour, society and nation.
After the graduational address 19 grandaunts were awarded degrees by the chief guest. The graduation pledge was taken by the students in presence of our Honourable secretary and Correspondent. Finally the Honourable secretary and Correspondent dissolved the graduation programme.
Following the Aalim Graduation, “Book Releasing Function” was conducted for the release of
1. First book a Tamil Translation of Arabic book “Mawsoo’athul Fiqhiyya” (Vol-I). The Arabic book is the Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence, The Ministry of Awqaf, Kuwait.
The first copy of the book was jointly released by Dr.A.K.Khaja Nazeemudeen, Secretary & Correspondent and Hajee. M.J. Jamal Mohamed, Treasurer and received by Dr.S. M. Hyder Ali, Chairman, TVS Hyder Group Cargo Limited, Mirqab, Kuwait
2. Second book “Arabic Prose and Poetry” (Text Book for III Semester Arabic Language Students) was released.
The first copy of the book was jointly released by Dr.A.K.Khaja Nazeemudeen, Secretary & Correspondent and Hajee M.J. Jamal Mohamed, Treasurer and received by Dr.S.Ismail Mohideen, The Principal of Jamal Mohamed College, Trichy.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr.A.Mohamed Ismail, Assistant Professor of Arabic.
