The International Conference on Emerging Trends in Microbial Technology (ICETMT-2024) was organized by PG and Research Department of Microbiology, Jamal Mohamed College, Tiruchirappalli in association with Microbiologist Society, India on 24-01-2024 from 9.30 am to 6.20 pm in N.M. Khajamian Rowthar Hall (A/C). The Inaugural ceremony was started with Qirath by R. Sumaya Banu of I M.Sc., Microbiology. Dr. M. Mohamed Mahroop Raja, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, welcomed the gathering.  Felicitation was given by our honourable Additional Vice Principal Dr. A. Ishaq Ahamed. The theme of the conference was proposed by Mrs.A. Swedha, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology. The tycoon of this International conference was Dr. T. Thirumurugan, Associate Professor of Plant Breeding and Genetics, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University,Coimbatore inaugurated the programme and delivered the keynote address.Dr.H. Vajiha Banu, Assistant Professor of Microbiology proposed the Vote of thanks for the inaugural session.
