Jamal Mohamed College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli organised a week long UGC Student Induction Programme on 10/6/2024 for the first - year students who have joined the academic year 2024-25. This course is aimed at bridging the gap between the school and the college. Dr. R. Jahir Hussain, Vice-Principal, welcomed the gathering. Hajee M.J. Jamal Mohamed, Treasurer, Dr. K. Abdus Samad, Assistant Secretary and Dr. K.N. Abdul Kader Nihal, Member & Honorary Director felicitated the new students. During the inaugural session D.I. George Amalarethinam, Principal of the college detailed the rules and regulations of the college, like the curriculum, library resources, Examination and evaluation methods, campus placements, Centre for extension activities, etc., and introduced various Heads of the Department to the new comers. Dr. K. Prabakar, Coordinator of Student Induction Programme explained the details of a week long Programme. Dr. A. Ishaq Ahamed, Additional Vice-Principal, proposed the Vote of thanks. Bursar, Deans, Controller of examinations, co-ordinators, HODs, MIDs and professors graced the occasion.
