Department of food supply and consumer protection, Tiruchirappalli District organised the Food exhibition entitled “MILLET FOOD FESTIVAL 2024” on February 9th 2024. Various colleges participated and displayed innovative millet recipes. Students from government schools and private school visited and gained information on traditional healthy food habits. Also public were allowed to come upon to have a glance. Students from DEPT. OF NUTRITION AND DIETETICS prepared innovative millet recipes named Kodo millet Nachos, Sorghum moon biscuit, Barnyard millet kebab, Flour blend cake, Ragi Brownie and Samai Halwa.
