PG & Research Department of Chemistry organised a Hands on Training on water testing (Interdepartmental Programme) under DBT star college scheme on “Analysis of water quality parameters”, on 09th October 2021 at 11.45am at Chemistry Department seminar hall.

 

Dr. S. S. Syed Abuthahir, Coordinator of DBT of our department, welcomed the gathering and Dr. J. Sirajudeen, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, presided over the programme.

             

Dr. R. Abdul Vahith, Assitant Professor of Chemistry, Jamal Mohamed College(A), Trichy, was the resource person for the programme. He clearly explained the precautions are to be taken out the water quality parameters and elaborated the importance of physico-chemical and biological parameters prevails in the water. He demonstrated the method of sample collection and testing of water samples. In toto 52 Students of department of Botany, Chemistry and Zoology benefitted out of this programme.
