The Two day 2nd International Conference on Challenges to Environment and Health (ICEH - 2020) was organized by the P.G department of Zoology, Jamal Mohamed College was held on 18 &19th November 2020. This is the second International Conference organised by Zoology department successfully on the same topic. Stem cell culture, Biodiversity Conservation, Molecular Biology, Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Vector Biology, Bioremediation, Radiation Biology, Animal Biotechnology, Vermiculture Technology, Environmental Toxicology, Environmental Biotechnology and Environmental Microbiology were the theme areas of the conference.

180 delegates from reputed institutions participated in the event. About 70 research papers were received from Faculty members, Research scholars, PG and UG students of various Colleges and Universities. Among them, 30 abstracts were selected for presentation and published in proceedings with ISBN number. We feel very proud to inform that this is the first time, selected Manuscripts from this International Conference has published in Journal of Advanced Applied Scientific Research - JOAASR (listed in Web of Science journal). In this regard, we wholeheartedly thank all the participants for their immense contributions in the form of abstracts. All the research scholars together with the faculty members have succeeded in their attempts to present their works here, which helped to motivate young minds and to create a scientific temper among the student community. To recognise and encourage their efforts, we have also awarded a Young Scientist award for the best presentation.
