‘WORLD ARABIC LANGUAGE DAY CELEBRATION’
The
World Arabic Language day Celebration was organized by Iqra Bismi Rabbik
Arabic Association, P.G. & Research Department of Arabic, Jamal Mohamed
College (Autonomous) Trichy- 20. on 18th December 2021 at Bio-Tec
Gallery A/C, Jamal Mohamed College. It began with the Qir’ath by A.Hajira, III
- B.A Arabic.

Arabic welcomed the gathering. The Vice-Principal of the college Dr.A.Mohamed
Ibraheem presided over the function. He appreciated the Department
faculties & students for their Modern techniques & ideas in presenting
the cultural and social aspects of the Arabs. And also he addressed the features
of Arabic Language in worldwide especially in UNESCO. The Additional Vice – Principal Dr. M.Mohamed Sihabudeen felicitated the gathering and they
distributed the prizes to the students. Students performed some programmes
after the Felicitation- Ms. R. Mumena of III
B.A Arabic delivered a speech in Arabic and Ms. K. Shabnam Fathima K III
B.A Arabic delivered a speech in English and Ms. M. Fowmiya begum of III B.A Arabic delivered a speech in
Tamil, A. Nasrun Karima ,The Hadeeth were read out by M.Muyena Begum and S.Thaslim Banu, B.Bahajath
Begum, N.Aasifa Banu were presented video regarding World Arabic
Language Day and R. Mumena presented PPT about growth of Arabic Language
around the World.
The
Chief guest Moulana Hafiz S. Hidayathullah Anwari, Chief Imam, Masjid –e-Husaini,
Kajamalai, delivered his speech on “Necessity of Learning Arabic
Language” by
quoting the special characteristics & features of Arabic language in
different way.

Arabic Proposed the Vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and to everyone gathered
for gracing the occasion by their solemn presence.
