Gender Club (Men)

One day programme on Gender sensitization as well as Inauguration of Gender

champion club was jointly organized by department of womens studies, BDU and Gender

champion club of jmc, trichy on 06/08/2019. Dr. M. Aneez Mohamed, Staff Advisor,

Gender Club (men) delivered the welcome address. The presidential address was delivered by

our principal , Dr. S. Ismail Mohideen and the chief guest of the programme,our Secretary

& Correspondent Dr. A. K. KhajaNazeemudeenand our treasurerHajeeM.Jamal

Mohamed, Part-V Co-ordinator Major N.Abdul Ali , Dean Faculty of Arts,

SyedZakirHasan(men) addressed the gathering .Thestudent office bearers were introduced. .

Dr. N. Manimekalai, Director & Head Department of Womens Studies Bharathidasan

University, Tiruchirappalli, enlightened the students about Gender and socialization and Dr.

S. SubaAssistant Professor, Department of Womens Studies, Bharathidasan University,

Tiruchirappalli. Spoke on gender and social Institutions. She explained in detail about both

positive and negative aspects of social issues and its consequences.
