Report of Inauguration of Association Activities 2023 - 2024
The Department of Hotel Management organized a Special Lecture Programme
to inaugurate the Association Activities of the academic year 2023-24 on the
title of “Employability Skills to be
Developed by Hospitality Graduates” on 25th July 2023 at Bio-Tech

College with the presence of dignitaries, an impressive lineup of scholars,
industrialists, faculties and students.
Dr.A.Alan Vijay, Assistant Professor of
HMCS, hosted the function with Master of Ceremony. Inaugural function
was started at 11 a.m. with a prayer
by Mr. K.Sheik Mohamed student of III B.Sc. HMCS. It was followed by Tamil Thai
Vazhththu. Head of the Department Dr.M.P.Senthilkumar welcomed the gathering. Dr.D.Gunaseelan, Assistant Professor
of the Department introduced the chief guest. Our most respected Principal Dr. S. Ismail Mohideen
presided over the function and he
addressed the gathering. Our Honourable Secretary and Correspondent Dr. A. K. Khaja Nazeemudeen, D.Litt.(USA), our most revered Treasurer Hajee. M. J. Jamal Mohamed and beloved Assistant Secretary Dr. K. Abdus Samad offered felicitations. The inaugural address
and Special lecture was delivered by the Chief
Guest Mr. S. Ahamed Cheguvera, Assistant Restaurant Manager, Hotel
Courtyard by Marriot, Trichy.
Mr.K.Karthikeyan, Assistant
Professor, Department of Hotel Management & Catering
Science delivered the vote of thanks. At the end, programme was concluded with
National Anthem.

of the Association Activity:
Through
this Special Lecture Programme, Students of Hotel Management benefited by
learning the Employability Skills to be developed to get the suitable job with
excellent perks in their career. The guest imparted the skills like problem
solving, patience, job knowledge, ability to face any situation, development of
communication, quick decision making ability, diplomacy, honesty, etc.
